What Is Try Scuba Diving?
The Try Scuba Diving (TSD) program is the easiest and fastest way to experience the underwater world of Koh Tao. It’s a one-day SSI beginner course open to anyone aged 8 and above — no experience required!
Our SSI-certified team provides:
- An introduction to scuba diving techniques and safety
- All the knowledge and equipment you need for your first dives
- Two dives around Koh Tao in safe, beginner-friendly conditions
- An unforgettable underwater adventure full of marine life
Good to knowPlan to stay at least one night on Koh Tao after your diving experience: you will not be back before the last ferry departs.

During your first dive, you’ll practice basic underwater skills in a calm, shallow area before exploring a coral reef. On the second dive, you’ll discover a more colorful site full of marine life such as turtles, angelfish, butterflyfish, barracudas, blue-spotted rays, and pufferfish.

Yes, you can safely leave your belongings at the club while you’re out diving.
Can a non-diver join the boat?
Yes, non-diving companions are welcome, subject to boat capacity.

Do you offer hotel transfers?
No, we don’t offer a pickup service.
