How many dives are included in the Advanced Open Water Course?

The course includes 5 adventure dives: a Deep Dive, Navigation Dive, Buoyancy dive, a Fun exploration dive, and a Night Dive (depending on sea conditions). Each one helps you improve your confidence and autonomy underwater.

How deep can I dive after getting the Advanced Open Water certification?

Once certified, you will be allowed to dive up to 30 meters anywhere in the world, with a certified dive buddy, as long as conditions are safe and suitable.

Do I need to be an expert diver to join this course?

Not at all! This course is designed for divers who already have their Open Water certification and want to keep learning and exploring. You don’t need advanced skills — that’s what you’ll learn during the course!

Do I have to do the Night Dive?

The night dive is highly recommended because it’s a unique and unforgettable underwater experience.
However, it depends on sea and weather conditions, and our instructor will always choose the safest alternative if a night dive isn't possible.

What equipment will I use during the course?

AQUATAO provides full diving equipment including mask, fins, wetsuit, BCD, regulator, instruments, and a torch for the night dive.
Your instructor will also teach you how to handle this equipment with confidence throughout your dives.
